Isn't Life Busy?

When people tell me they are too busy to attend my Scrapbook Workshops, I feel like saying "Yes, life is busy for us ALL!" And it IS!
I went to Disneyland this March, with my son, Bryan and his family! This is only my second time! I walked 21,144 steps the first day. (Yes, I wear a pedometer!) Thanks for Sketcher Shape Ups. After returning, it took me two weeks to feel like I was caught up from the trip!
I have been doing a lot of yard and gardening work, because once the Houston heat hits, I am done!
Then my church work includes helping families get their food storage in order. So, a lot of phone calls. I am using MailChimp now, and that was a bit of a learning curve, but I can send out awesome mail campaigns, track them and stay on top of things better.
So I am working on a Creative Memories campaign mailing for all the specials that are coming out, workshop postings and ReTreat info.
And I have turned a walkin closet into a food storage closet. I am so proud of that effort! Anything that makes me feel more organized makes me feel like my time is well spent! TaTa for now! Karyn

Happy New Year for us All!

A new year! 2011! Just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?
My son, on his jibberjobber.com blog says that new goals for the year last until the end of January! So, we'll see!
This year I want to:
Lose weight, of course, but more than that, get stronger and healthier. Melissa will join me. Maybe I can influence more to jump in on that.
Become ever so much more computer savvy.
Learn that dadgum Cricut Gypsy....I'll have to get help on that.
Grow my Creative Memories business through workshops, classes and retreats.
Read the New Testiment all the way through.
Have a fun and successful family reunion.
Finish the Alba Storybook that I started a long time ago!
Make some more digital and traditional albums through my Creative Memories business opps.
Look for the good in the world, in my family and in individuals.
Be a better person.
Hope y'all have a wonderful future this year!
